The Youth Volunteer Association of Danzhai Wanda Campus Held Blood Donating Activity Successfully
In order to cultivate students' sense of citizenship, service and dedication. On October 23th to 25th, the Youth Volunteers Association of Dazhai Wanda campus of our college, with the help of blood station in Qiandongnan district, launched the activity of "caring for life, donating blood " in front of the stadium of Wanda campus.
For holding this activity successfully, the volunteers did preparation and propaganda work long before beginning. Under the guidance of medical staff, teachers and students who are willing to donate blood cooperate actively, observe strictly the order of blood donation, and conscientiously complete procedures such as filling in forms, physical examination, blood test and blood drawing. The blood truck was warm and the atmosphere was relaxed. Some of them are freshmen who donated for the first time and some are tough women who donated for several times in row. Through blood donation is limited, love is limitless. It showed the sense of responsibility and dedication of teachers and students in our college, which reflects the public spirit of carrying forward the truth, goodness and beauty.
Night has come with cold autumn rain, but the blood donation truck was still the hottest place, because there were still many students wait in the registration line for donation. Up to 7 PM, 186 unpaid blood donors had donated more than 46,800 milliliters blood.
